Meera Shenoy

Founder, Youth4jobs | Social Change Maker | Keynote Speaker

Meera talks about the confidence and capabilities of underprivileged youth with disabilities and the many opportunities that only they can realise. Having trained 9000 of such individuals and placed them in 200 companies across India, she is a social-change maker and founder of Youth4Jobs, an NGO which works for the cause.

Meera has previously worked with the central and the state governments on employment policies and frameworks. She set up India’s first employment mission as the executive director of Employment Generation & Marketing Mission (EGMM). During her six-year tenure here, she helped train 2,20,000 youth with 70% placements.

She has also worked as a consultant for World Bank and UNDP and has recently authored a book, “You Can” that motivates one to tap into their inner potential.
