Starting his television career with CNBC (TV18), he later led a team to pioneer business news in Hindi at Aaj Tak (TV Today Network). As an Executive Editor at Bloomberg UTV, he helped to launch and run the channel.

Pranjal received the New Television Award for Best Anchor in 2007. In his advisory role, Pranjal has served India’s public service broadcaster Prasar Bharati, (Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India) and many private organisations from the telecom, infrastructure, and media industry.
