Pranjal is an economic analyst, advisor and writer who focuses on technology, globalisation and media. He shares insights on economic forecasting, business intelligence and public diplomacy and has developed several research projects that interpret policy impact on industry and society.
His report on India’s economic reforms, curated for KPMG, was launched by the Prime Minister at Make in India week recently. Through his latest book Kranti Nation: India and The Fourth Industrial Revolution, he highlights how technologies like artificial intelligence, 3D printing and robotics are changing India’s business landscape.
A seasoned editor, Pranjal has spent years tracking India’s economic journey and has worked with The Indian Express and India Today. Starting his television career with CNBC (TV18), he later led a team to pioneer business news in Hindi at Aaj Tak (TV Today Network). As an Executive Editor at Bloomberg UTV, he helped to launch and run the channel.
Pranjal received the New Television Award for Best Anchor in 2007. In his advisory role, Pranjal has served India’s public service broadcaster Prasar Bharati, (Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India) and many private organisations from the telecom, infrastructure, and media industry.
