Rohan Parashuram Kanawade is a self-made filmmaker whose journey from a one-room home in a Mumbai slum to the global stage is as compelling as the stories he tells. An alum of the prestigious 11th Venice Biennale College Cinema, his work has been celebrated at film festivals around the world.
In 2019, his short film U for Usha won the Satyajit Ray Short Film Award at the London Indian Film Festival and is currently streaming on BFI Player.
