Gaurav is an entrepreneur and globally recognised bloodstock professional with over 20 years of experience trading and managing thoroughbred racehorses across the world. He is the only Indian to have won the prestigious Kentucky Derby, an extraordinary achievement that reflects both his expertise and passion for the equine world.
Blending his deep knowledge of horses with contemporary leadership needs, Gaurav founded The Horseman Way, an impactful leadership coaching program that employs equine-facilitated learning to cultivate empathy, authenticity, and emotional intelligence in corporate leaders. His sessions aim to reestablish genuine human connections in an increasingly AI-driven world by leveraging a different kind of AI – Animal Intelligence.
Drawing on horse psychology, neuroscience, and biomimicry, the program helps leaders build deep self-awareness, emotional congruence, and authentic connections. Participants explore their strengths, acknowledge their vulnerabilities, and access levels of emotional insight not typically possible through traditional coaching or counselling.
A qualified Horse Assisted Educator (HorseDream® Germany) and a certified corporate trainer (Dale Carnegie & Associates Inc.), Gaurav did his MBA in Marketing, had a stint as a banker, and then followed his passion for horses, becoming a leading professional in an unconventional field. His unique journey now informs his work in Equine Assisted Neuro Experiences, where 21st-century leadership traits such as authenticity, empathy, trust-building, and emotional intelligence are embodied through experience, not theory.
