Samar Farooqui is India’s first professional slackliner and the Founder & CEO of SlacklifeInc., India’s first professional slacklining company. A pioneer of the sport in India, he has established nearly 90% of the country’s highline locations, founded India’s only highline festival and trickline competition, and represented India at the Urban Highline Festival in Poland. He also serves on the Education Commission of the International Slackline Association (ISA).
Drawing from years of operating in high-risk environments, Samar helps organisations rethink leadership, resilience and decision-making under pressure. His sessions translate lessons from extreme sports into practical strategies for navigating uncertainty, building trust and leading with confidence.
After surviving a near-fatal BASE jumping accident, Samar rebuilt both his career and identity, an experience that now shapes his powerful conversations on resilience, courage and personal transformation.
