With the ambition of creating a more responsible and humane society, Jeroninio (Jerry) Almeida began training and mentoring people at the age of 17. He is a management consultant and business strategist who has helped top brands like Microsoft, Discovery Channel, and many more. Besides his speaking engagements with the corporate houses, Jerry also shares his expertise and experiences with students and grassroot communities to help them look for a leader within themselves.
As a missionary entrepreneur, Jerry founded iCONGO – international federation of NGOs and has inspired stories in BBC and TIE Magazine. He also created iTEAM (Institutionalised Training Employment and Advancement of the Marginalized) – a model that has been adapted by National Skills Development Corporation and other NGOs.
He has served as an advisor for the British Government, planning and implementing their ‘Public Democracy Initiative’ and was invited by the Ministry of Home Affairs to serve on the advisory board to encourage volunteers for peace and communal harmony.
He donned the hat of a producer to create critically-acclaimed movies like Ek Alag Mausam and I AM, and the first of its kind initiative – the Joy of Giving music video, in partnership with MTV and Channel [V] to involve the youth with marginalised children and communities.
