Manisha Ram Kelkar is an Indian actor and trained Kathak dancer, seen in Bollywood (Hindi), Marathi, and Telugu films. She is also a well-known anchor, who has hosted popular events such as Times of India Red Carpet, Asian Film Festival, Times Marathi Film Technical Awards, Comedy Express, Marathi Film Awards on ETV Marathi, Cricket World Cup on Zee 24 Taas and Bollylands.com on MX player & Zee 5.
An LGB Formula 4 race driver on a National level, she has won podiums in Autocross and Gymkhana races in Bangalore and Mumbai; and was felicitated by Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports, Kiren Rijiju.
She was selected to participate in the Formula Women McLaren GT Cup in the United Kingdom and was among the Top 50 out of more than 1000 participants from all over the world. She has also been selected for Nations Cup to represent India in the Middle East, where 22 countries are participating.
Her TEDx Talk “What To Do When Dreams Shatter” tells the inspiring story of how Manisha overcame the trauma of experiencing a near-fatal accident which left her with 5 vertebrae fractures, a broken rib, and perforations in the intestines. Through her story and journey, Manisha motivates others going through tough times.
Manisha was born in Mumbai, where her parents were also well-known achievers in the Indian film industry.
