Lt Gen Ananthanarayan Arun served in the Indian Army for nearly four decades, leading strategy, large-scale projects, and recruitment across diverse verticals, levels, locations and jobs. He managed a collective 1.2 million team members, overseeing significant budgets and driving efficiency, transformation and recruitment initiatives. Over 42 years of varied experience, he has led teams in Counterterrorism, Strategic Planning and Policy Formulation.

Along with being Head of Strategy for the Army, Let Gen Arun has also been the primarycontact for all five southern states, managing land, assets, manpower, training, and aid in times of crisis. He also served in complex initiatives internationally, including roles in Cambodia, Sierra Leone and at the UN HQ in New York.

Seriously wounded in Operations, he has received numerous awards, including the Param Vishisht Seva Medal for Distinguished Service of the Most Exceptional Order, Sena Medal for Gallantry, Vishisht Seva Medal for Distinguished Service, Yudh Seva Medal for Outstanding Leadership in Conflict/War, Four Chief of Army Commendations, and North Star Medal for Excellence.

An exceptional orator and motivational speaker, Let Gen Arun has spoken at and conducted over 1000 sessions on organisational behaviour, developing and enhancing individual efficiency, improving group dynamics, team building and happiness for large MNCs, banks, hospitals, universities, schools and colleges, in multiple languages. An acclaimed TEDx speaker, his videos on motivation and self-help have been viewed millions of times. He has also been featured on the cover of two prestigious academic publications.
