Pankaj is a seasoned business leader in the Technology/ Internet space with experience in building and growing start-ups as well as large-scale businesses.
In his last stint, he was Director, Strategy at Google; prior to which, he worked with McKinsey. He has been a Start-up CEO/ Co-Founder in the EduTech and WellnessTech spaces and also held several roles in the industry.
The Start-up ecosystem is close to Pankaj’s heart. An investor in start-ups and mentor to several founding teams, Pankaj is an avid speaker on Technology trends and topics at the intersection of business and life. He has also received the ET Inspiring leader award for building and mentoring Tech businesses.
Pankaj has strong cross-functional expertise across Operations, Sales and Strategy. A firm believer in the significance and impact of deep operations, Pankaj is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has been involved in greenfield projects across Manufacturing and ITeS industries.
Pankaj is an authentic leader who strongly believes in investing in people. He delivers high impact, with efficiency and a strong focus on talent development. He has worked with people across multiple cultures – more than 25 nationalities – and projects spanning multiple geographies. An advocate of DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), he has made significant contributions to DEI efforts in his previous organizations.
His personal passions include writing Hindi poetry, Travel, Graphology (Handwriting analysis) and social causes, in particular food and children welfare.
