Purvi Sheth

CEO, Shilputsi Consultants | Board Director | Leadership, Talent & Governance Advisor

Purvi Sheth is a leadership advisor, board director and second-generation entrepreneur with over three decades of experience working at the intersection of leadership, talent, organisation transformation and governance.

As CEO of Shilputsi Consultants, one of India’s established strategic HR advisory firms, Purvi works closely with promoters, boards, CEOs and senior leadership teams across leading Indian and multinational organisations, high-growth businesses and family enterprises. Her work focuses on a question that increasingly defines business success: How do organisations build the leadership, culture and talent capability required for their next stage of growth?

Having worked with over 300 organisations and contributed to the selection, assessment and development of more than 500 CEOs and CXOs, Purvi brings a practitioner’s understanding of what differentiates leaders who successfully navigate growth, transformation and complexity. Her expertise spans leadership development, succession, organisation design, talent strategy, culture, performance and leadership transition.

Purvi also brings the perspective of the boardroom. She serves as an Independent Director on the boards of prominent listed and unlisted companies, including Ambuja Cements, Kirloskar Oil Engines, Shoppers Stop and Metropolis Healthcare, and has chaired and participated in committees covering nomination and remuneration, ESG, CSR and leadership succession.

A significant part of her work is dedicated to preparing leaders for the future. She has mentored over 100 women leaders through License to Lead and leads Shilputsi’s leadership and governance initiatives, including ASCENDENCY, a mentoring-led leadership development programme for high-potential leaders, and BOARDPATH, which develops boardroom thinking, governance mindset and strategic leadership capability among senior executives, founders and emerging directors.

As a speaker, Purvi combines boardroom perspective, entrepreneurial experience and three decades of working closely with leaders and organisations through growth and change. Her sessions are practical, provocative and rooted in real organisational dilemmas rather than leadership theory alone.

She speaks on the changing nature of leadership, the future of organisations, boardroom effectiveness, succession, family enterprise, talent and the human side of transformation.
