Founder, Shakti – The Empathy Project (STEP)

Reinu is the founder of Shakti – The Empathy Project (STEP), a unique incubation program for women entrepreneurs. The program aims at creating an enabling ecosystem for women entrepreneurs creating social impact.

She embarked on her professional journey as a part of the founding team at Nimbus International, Nepal where she led various roles in Sales & Marketing and General Management for around 9 years, before transitioning to the non-profit sector.

Her long and dedicated career in the development sector primarily focused towards the education of underprivileged children. She founded Koseli, Project Pehal and also led Ashoka’s Changemaker Schools Program for South Asia.

She holds a Master degree in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School. She was the John Galbraith Policy Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School (2014) and is also the recipient of the EpicChange Global Woman award (2011).
