Sangeeta is a driven and passionate leader with 28 years of experience in managing large businesses through a strategic mindset and with operational and executional excellence. She believes in creating and enhancing organizations and business value while motivating diverse sets of people towards a common goal. Through her talks, Sangeeta brings her perspectives on leadership, institution building, diversity and inclusivity.
Her experience spans multiple lines of business, across various functions and roles, handling both mature and start-up businesses. She has held Leadership and Board roles across top conglomerates such as Mahindra Group and TATA Group. Former MD & CEO of Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited, Sangeeta is currently Member of the Mahindra Group Executive Board and Co-Chair of Diversity & Inclusivity Council at Mahindra Group. Formerly, she was Member of the Board of Governors at IIM, Lucknow.
As a speaker and/or panellist, Sangeeta has addressed audiences at many global events, including multiple editions of the World Economic Forum at Davos, the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, or ‘COP 21’, in Paris, and the eighth Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM8) held in Beijing in 2017. She is a guest speaker at leading educational institutes including the IIMs on Leadership, Sustainable Development and Business.
She is also actively involved with industry bodies. A current Board member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (South Asia Board), she has held various positions in industry bodies such as Co-Chair of the CII Urban Development and Smart Cities Council, and member of the FICCI Smart Cities Committee.
